No it will not, Life needs other processes too that is only possible by other gases like carbon dioxide, nitrogen. For example -Photosynthesis in plants need Carbon dioxide.

Answer:

No oxygen is used for breathing but the air contains some other gases which are essential for our life. For example -nitrogen gas is used by plants for their growth and hence plants serves as food for us. so if plants won't get nitrogen gas then they can't grow and there will be shortage of food for us and hence we have to die in starvation.
