Main concepts to be clear with :-

1) Finding zeros (roots) by factorization method
2) Finding zeros by the method of completing the square.
3) Finding zeros by quadratic formula
4) Determining the nature of roots

A quadratic eqn is of the form ax² + bx + c = 0
Formulas :-

1) Quadratic formula :-

x = -b ± $\frac{ \sqrt{ b^{2} - 4ac}}{2a}$

2) Nature of roots :-
Case 1 : If b² - 4ac > 0 , then the equation has two distinct roots
Case 2: If b² - 4ac = 0 , then the equation has two equal roots (or exactly 2 roots)
Case 3: If b² - 4ac < 0 , then the equation has no roots
