Yes, the sum, difference, product and quotient of two irrational numbers need not to be irrational.

For eg.√2*√2=2

Where √2 is irrational and 2 is rational.

TanuM514: Because if we multiply two roots with same no. then the roots will cancel......... if we multiply roots with diff. no. then the answer will come in root same as u asked in the question
