Counter view on ambitious is the root cause of all evil. (1) ambitious lead to greed, hatred and jealousy. (2)we try to achieve success at any cost. (3)human values and relations are compromised upon. (4) we become materialistic and ambitious. (5)our life becomes monotonous and happiness evaded us.

Agreed !! Being ambitious is the root cause of all evil. Having an ambition is not bad, but one needs to work for reality. There are no shortcuts to get successful.
One should not give up passion for ambition. When greed combines with your ambition, you will go to an extent of inflicting harm on others for the sake of achieving your goals.
But if it is in name of passion, you will surely achieve it with lots of hard work.
