covalent bond means ,a bond which is formed by sharing of electrons or overlapping of atomic orbitals..these bonds are directional in nature...these are of two types..1.) sigma bond
2.)pie bond
••sigma bond is the stronger than pie bond due to axial overlapping....these have free rotation ...they form conformational isomers
•• pie bonds are formed by lateral overlapping...these have restricted rotation...this give geometric isomers

Ans:The bond between non metals are known as covalent bonds.
examples include,
O2 (oxygen) - two oxygen atoms bonded to form one oxygen molecule
H2 (hydrogen) - two hydrogen atoms bonded to form one hydrogen molecule
SO2 (sulfurdioxide) - one sulfur atom bonded with two oxygen atoms.
