cow milk is yellow but buffalo milk is white why

cow milk fat have a pigment named beta carotene in it. buffalo milk don't contain this.
this pigment also exists in vegetables like carrot. that's why they appear in orange and yellow colours. this pigment is the coloring pigment which is responsible for cow,'s yellowish milk.....
