Cows swallow their food once and then this food goes back to the mouth to be chewed again. How can this phenomenon be explained?

when cow eat food it transfer it into the rumen which is a type of stomach and after the unchewed food is tranfered to reticulam and then it is transfered to mouth for the complere chewing and then it is converted into cud and then it is transfered to obomasom for digestion and it is then it is tranfered to abomasom for the absorbtion........
