Me: Well, we don't have world class singers like you in school...
Nick: But everyone goes to school. Even the best singers need to attend school. You never know who makes it big in life.
Me: You are right! Is there a sure shot formula for success?
Nick: Well, not that I know of.
Me: But you are a very successful singer.
Nick: I got lucky. I did have the benefits of being born in a musically orientated family, but there are a lot more factors that matter, like your dedication and perseverance.
Me: Really?
Nick: Yes. Sometimes you want to just give up, but that is exactly the time to show your perseverance. Each difficult phase teaches you something valuable and makes you a better person.
Me: Next time I feel demotivated, I will play your songs.
Nick: I hope they make you feel better. Music is a very powerful healer.
