so to the cross method you have to find the valency of K and I

so the valency of K/ pottasium = 1

valenvy of I/ iodine= 1

K     I

1      1

so just draw arrows accros like an x

since both are 1 we just keep it as KI but if it is Hydrogen and Oxygen it wpuld be like this

valency of h is 1 and o is 2

cross multiply and we get h20
