On critical analysis of science textbooks of state board and NCERT is can stated that both state and central board emphasize on concept and knowledge. But the depth varies a lot.

• CBSE board focus on enlightening students of various types of concepts from a very lower class.
• On doing so, many things are actually covered from the lower classes itself. Many concepts of physics, chemistry biology are introduced in lower classes.
• But by focusing on area coverage, NCERT books somewhat lack in depth of information and knowledge.
• Whereas in state boards, area coverage is much lesser than the central board books.
• But, the depth and the extent of a topic in much more in case of state board science topics.
• This idea may vary from person to person.
