Fritz is a story that takes place in the British era, in a small circuit house in a small town called Bundi, Rajasthan. The protagonist returns to the house that he had visited when he was a child and is suddenly reminded of a Swiss doll that was gifted to him by his uncle. He remembers that a dog had torn it apart and he had buried it in a corner of the lawn. However, that night, he feels that the doll called as Fritz has come back to life and is eager to play with his old friend.
The author uses horror through inanimate things in this story by creating a situation that is full of fear, chimera, and chaos.
