Why the yield of food grains per hectares is high in Punjab,Haryana and UP'.Give reasons.

Because of the green revolution and modern farming. Farmers have machinery like tractors, threshers, combines. There is good irrigation facility and high yield variety of seeds. Farmers also use fertilizers, pesticides, weedicides etc
