By encompassing your child with books and perusing the material, both around the house and in their room, your child will be more disposed to lift them up and get ingested in the pages.

Children regularly duplicate the conduct of their parents. In this way, in the event that they see you routinely grabbing a book, your child might probably do likewise.

Giving your child an abundance of books doesn't need to mean spending a fortune at the bookshop.

Figuring out how to peruse and compose is an essential ability that shockingly not all youngsters in the world learn adequately. In a period when societal change puts expanding demands on people's capability in utilizing composed language, it is essential that schools can educate such aptitudes to all children.

There are many ways of improving the writing skills of leaners. Two of the commonly used methods are:

1.    Keeping a journal- Students should be asked to keep a journal. They can joy down anything related to their daily lives. **The strengths of this method are that the children will not be ‘stuck’ with one particular topic. Thus, they will be better able to relate to whatever they write. Secondly, it will encourage them to pay attention to detail, thus improving their observation and descriptive abilities.

**The limitation however is that since each student’s journal entry will be unique, it might get challenging to grade all the submissions from one perspective. Making entries on a daily basis might become monotonous as well.

2.    Handing out worksheets- Worksheets that are especially designed, keeping the objectives in mind, can be given to the learners.

** The advantage of using worksheets is that the teacher can focus on one particular area of writing. For instance, it could be a worksheet on verbs or tenses. It is more controlled and targeted learning.

**The disadvantage of using worksheets is that one needs to put in time and effort into either creating or identifying the worksheet to be used. However, given the effectiveness and popularity of worksheets, it is well worth the effort.
