The lamb is the most popular and the simplest poems of Blake and the symbolic meaning of it is almost clearly stated in the poem The Lamb which is the most important among the poem of innocence.  Most importantly the symbols of child, lamb and Christ are assimilated each other. Even the poem also begins with a child like directness as well as natural world that show none of the signs of grownups.
