Colonialism in India had changed fate, exploited resources, looted wealth. However, some administrative structure, infrastructure gifted but at the cost of India's, mostly developed for their well being during their stay in India.

Social impact:

Introduced liberal principles like Widow remarriage, acts against Sati and Child marriage

Introduced English language in education system which is now an additional benefit to Indians over other Countries citizens.

Indian constitution has taken many provisions of 1935 act.

By intervening in tribal areas, disturbed their culture and led to large scale evacuations which caused to migrations and unrest.

By adopting revenue policies like Ryotwari, Permanent Settlement, Mahalwari System etc changed rural structure and land ownerships
