Na2SO4.xH2O

The molecular mass = 46 + 32 + 64 + 18x = 142+18x

The mass of anhydrous salt = 142

Given 18x * 100/ (142+18x) = 55.9

1800x = 7937.8 + 1006.2 x

x = 7937.8/793.8 = 10

Therefore the compound is Na2SO4.10H2O
