Crystals of copper sulphate are heated in a test tube for some time.
a)What is the colour of copper sulphate crystals--- before hearing and after heating?
b)What is the source of liquid droplets seen on the inner upper side of test tube during the heating process?

as \: copper \: sulphate \: crystals \: are \\ having \: water \: molecules \: attached \\ to \: them \: they \: are \: having \: blue \: \\ color \: this \: is \: called \: water \: of \: \\ crystallization.

a) CuSO4.5H2O is blue in color before heating it.
It turns white in color when it is heated as it loses water molecules attached to it.

CuSO4.5H2O -----> CuSO4 + 5H2O

b) the source of the liquid droplets which are seen on the upper side of test tube is the hydrous CuSO4 crystals. ( these have water molecules attached to them. )
