64 is the cube of the expression (2+2)

Cube of a expression

cube of an algebraic expression is given as:

(a+b)^{3} =a^{3} +3a^{2} b+3ab^{2} +b^{3}

This formula can be used to factorize the trinomials also.

Given the expression (2+2) we must find its cube:

Comparing the expression (2+2)^{3} with (a+b)^{3};

(2+2)^{3} =2^{3}+3×2^{2}×2+3×2×2^{2}+2^{3}

=8+3×4×2+3×2×4+8

=64

or

(2+2)^{3} =4^{3} \\

first add the numbers inside the bracket then find its cube.

=4×4×4

=64

Therefore the cube of the expression (2+2) is 64
