Hey there!
Kerala, also reffered to as the God's own country is a South Indian State.
It's a famous tourist spot. Lots of people from different countries come there to enjoy themselves in thier vacations.
Language spoken in Kerala is malayalam and probably , my mother tongue :p
_Good_
=> Kerala is the place know for it's great backwaters and greenery. The beautiful sceneries there are amazing. personally, I go very unlucky, I am in town, but, I force everyone, to visit those places :p
=> Kerala, maybe cause of it's beauty of nature, is called 'God's own country' :)
=> Kerala is a state, India's first digital state, despites the greenery and villages there. Almost all schools and institutions are digitally improved.
=> Kerala is the state which have the highest sex ratio in favour of women. Women is more in Kerala, particularly, in the Malabar region.
=> I am very proud to say that, women of Kerala are highly respected and have a high importance in taking decisions in home, almost equal to men. I equally feel it. Compared to another states, women of Kerala have a very high status. I, in my home, is never discriminated only cause I am a girl. I have equal Independence as that of my brother.
=> Kerala is the only country in India having 100% literacy rate :sunglass:, including me ;p
=> Kerala's national festival, Onam, is a great proud to keralians. Onam is a festival where a lot of brotherhood and togetherness is felt. I really love the festival <3
=> The dance forms and culture of keralians is really great. Most of the people, here are kind-hearted and friendly. <3
=> Kerala have a very well devoloped language. Malayalam, the official language, is one of the scheduled languages of India even though it's only spoken in Kerala. Malayalam had given the rank of the best language of India. ^ -^
_Bad_
We could say nothing bad about anything, but I am very sorry to say and a true fact is, however, every thing have it's bad side if it have good side :)
=> Kerala is a place where there's a lot of corruption. It's a very big disadvantage. The rulers there are not bothered about the citizens. A very very big disadvantage I have felt so far.
=> Kerala, unfortunately, is a place where there's a lot of traffic jam, and me and my family even face it. This traffic jam even creates many accidents.
=> Even though Kerala have a high reputation and Independence for women, maybe this Independence is the cause, of so many crimes to women is reported :(
=> In Kerala, A recent incident have been a major problem :( A person who stole food for survival was killed by a group of people :(
Like every place, Kerala do have disadvantages and advantages. Only because it have flaws, doesn't mean it's not beautiful. I am still, a proud half-malayali ;p
