US warns India on missile deal with Russia
India’s decision to buy the long-range S-400 missile defense system from Russia will have serious implications on defence ties, the Trump administration has warned.
The S-400 is known as Russia’s most advanced long-range surface-to-air missile defence system.
China was the first foreign buyer to seal a government-to-government deal with Russia in 2014 to procure the lethal missile system.
Apple and Google have removed 3 dating apps from their online stores after the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) alleged the apps allowed kids as young as 12 to access them.
In a recent letter, the FTC warned Ukraine-based Wildec LLC, which operates the apps Meet24, FastMeet, and Meet4U.
These apps appeared to be in violation of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Kerala to go paperless
The Kerala State Assembly is undertaking E-Vidhan, an initiative to digitize all records.
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in 14 months. The project is expected to cost around Rs.40 crore.
Once the project is completed, all the Assembly proceedings will go paperless.
