Evaluation is a perpetual process of analysis involved with the investigation, evaluation, and improvement of all perspectives of the training program. The most perfect is for this method to be carried out cooperatively by all treated with the growth and advancement of children. It is the method of managing the changes in the child as a consequence of teaching and his participation. It is a methodical effort at determining the amount of improvement made in the education of the child toward the recognition of objectives of education.
Importance of Evaluation
Evaluation is essential to the teacher, the student, the parent, the administrator, and the profession in a complex method. The teacher continuously assesses the effectiveness of his pedagogy in order to advance methods and procedures and to understand his students better. The child who goes to school has the freedom to know what method he is proceeding, whether or not he is accomplishing the purposes he has been encouraged to set up for himself.
