Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:curved surface area of cone = 251.2 cm²

πrl = 251.2 cm²

3.14*8*l = 251.2

l = 251.2/3.14*8 = 10 cm

slant height = 10 cm

l² = h²+r²

(10)² - (8)² = h²

h² = 36 ⇒ h = 6 cm

Perpendicular height = 6 cm

i hope answer is helpful

Answer:

GIVEN THAT

AREA=251.2CM2

RADIUS OF CONE =8CM

formula 3.14×r×l=area

substituting the valyes given in problem we get

3.14×7×l=251.2

BY TRANSFORMING ALL THE VALUES TO RIGHT SIDES WE GET..

L=

 \frac{257 }{3.14}(8)

THEN

L=10cm

HERE WE GOT (L) SLANT HEIGHT =10 CM

THEN H=?

THE FORMULA IS L^2=H^2+R^2. (^MEANS SQUARE)

WE NEED (H) SO ....

10^2-8^2=H^2

H^2=36

H=

 \sqrt{36}

h=6

the sum what i did is soo long but if we do like this only we can understand easily.

if u got difficult to understand forgive me

HOPE U WILL NOT THINK LIKE THAT

THANK YOU
