Cyonobacteria and some other photosynthetic bacteria have thylakoids suspended freely in the cytoplasm [i.e., they are not enclosed in membrane) and also have bacteriochlorophyll to conduct photosynthesis.

Cyanobacteria other photosynthetic bacteria does not have chloroplasts how do they conduct photosynthesis.

Cyanobacteria are similar to plants in that they both perform oxygenic photosynthesis.

In plant cells, photosynthesis takes place in the chloroplast, small structures that contain chlorophyll and thylakoids.

Cyanobacteria don't have chloroplasts. Instead, the chlorophyll is stored in thylakoids in their cytoplasm.
