Deforestation means that the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increases because plants absorb carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. If there are less plants, lesser carbon dioxide will be absorbed resulting in high level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. This gives rise to global warming.

Yes, the life cycle gets disturbed by deforestation. As many living organisms depend on each. For example (in picture blue box). If we cut trees, animals depending on them gets extinct and and carnivores animals eating them also gets disturbed.
