Given :- A man invests 10400 in 6% shares at 104 and 11440 in 10.4% shares at 143.

To find :- Income he would get in all.

 \huge{ \boxed{ \rm{Calculation:- }}}

Income on Rs 104

 = 6\% \: of \: 10400 \\   =  \frac{6}{100}  \times 10400

Income on Rs 1

 =  \frac{6 \times 10400}{100 \times 104}  = 6

Income on Rs 143

 = 10.4\% \: of \: Rs.11440 \\  =  \frac{104}{10} \times 100 \times 11440 \\  =  \frac{104 \times 1144}{100}

Income on Rs 1

 \frac{104 \times 1144}{100}  \times 143 \\  =  \frac{832}{100}  = 8.32

Total income earned by man Rs. 6+Rs. 8.32 = Rs. 14.32
