in the 1st case u1=u1 v1=0 and t=t1

distance is constant in both the cases

v=u+at=0=u+a×t1_1...

-u=-at

for 2nd case v1=u2=0

v=u+at

v2=at(for 2nd case)

by substituting the values of u1 and v2 in equation v=u-at in both cases we get speed of both are equal

therefore t=d/speed (as speed and d are constant in both cases t1=t2.
