• Mitosis is the type of cell division. Prophase is the first stage of mitosis, where condensation of chromosomes takes place. Anaphase is marked by seperation of chromosomes. Cytokinesis is when cell divides into two giving rise to daughter cells.  
• Human have 23 pairs of chromosomes or total 46 chromosomes. The 44 chromosomes are autosomes and the remaining two are sex chromosomes. XX sex chromosomes is present in females while XY sex chromosomes are present in males.
