Show that

 {ca}^{2}  = bc \times cd

In triangle ADC and triangle BAC

Angle ADC = angle BAC.......... (given)

Angle DAC= Angle BCA.......... (common angle)

Therefore

triangle ADC similar triangle BAC........ By (A. A. Criteria)

Ad/ BA= DC/ AC= AC/BC

THEREFORE

DC/ AC= AC/BC

Hence,

Ac2= DC* BC

Hence proved
