Given - AB = AC
To prove -- BD > CD
Proof -- Since AB = AC
∠ABC = ∠ACB (By Isosceles Triangle property) ----(i)
Here clearly,
∠ABC > ∠CBD
∠ACB > ∠CBD ---from (i)
∠DCB > ∠CBD
BD > CD (Angle opposite to greater side is greater in a triangle)
Hence Proved!
