1)These are: Ingestion, Digestion, Absorption, Assimilation and Egestion. Ingestion: is the process of taking food in to the body or 'eating of food' by the animal. ... Blood carries the absorbed food to all the parts of the body.

2)The pseudopodia join together to form a small cavity known as a food vacuole. The food inside the vacuole is digested by digestive juices. It is absorbed and assimilated there to provide energy and perform other functions(chk diagram fpr 2nd answer.)
