Rohan's Red T-shirt
by Sowmya Rajendran
Rohan's mother is fed
up. Rohan has thrown his
clothes on the floor yet
again. "How many times
have I told you to put your
clothes away neatly?"
she asks. Rohan shrugs.
They're just clothes, Ma!"
he says:
"Just clothes? Do you
know how many people
have worked hard to
make this?" asks Ma She
holds up his favourite
red T-shirt. "What do you
mean?
"Farmers, mill
workers, dyers, tailors,
shopowners ... so many
people," says Ma. Rohan
is curious now. Tell me
more," he asks
