TiCl4(l) + Mg(s)=====>Ti(s) + MgCl2(s)

Balancing the chemical equation,

TiCl4(l) + 2Mg(s)===>Ti(s) + 2MgCl2(s)

LHS:

Ti:1

Cl:4

Mg:1

RHS:

Ti:1

Cl:2

Mg:1

Mg and Ti are balanced on both sides but Cl isn't,thus Cl has to be balanced.

So,we work out this suitable arrangement,

Add 2 on Mg on LHS and 2 on MgCl2 pn RHS.

Now,both reactants and products are balanced
