Mom: Listen to me! We are you parents and we know what is the best for you!
Dad: Sweetheart try to understand, you'll be nothing but a disgrace if you chose being an author.
Me(name of the person) : But mom,dad..I want to pursue a career in writing stories, novels..just how great it would be to finally be a person who you desire the most. I love reading not because I look up for money but because you can only do great work when you enjoy doing it. Right dad??
Mom: *slams the door* And what about being a pilot? have you never thought about that?
Me: Mom..Literature is not only my career but my happiness. You see mom, one cannot do great; cannot even make money if one doesn't like what they're doing. that's why I think its the best career option for me.
Dad: we know you like Literature honey but don't you have any other career choices? think about the money you would make from being a pilot.
Me: Dad I understand you concern but you have to that my plans and goals are different. I don't only want to make money, I want to motive people and inspire them through my writings. Not only do I have a motives but I also have responsibilities.
Mom: * sigh* just what do you want from us?
Me: Mom, dad I don't want you money, house or anything like that but more importantly...I desire your support. With Literature, I may be a role model for someone but for me..if I don't get motivations from you guys; I don't think I can ever be a role model in my eyes.
Dad: As you wish sweetie but remember..work hard alright? * smiles in a bashful way*
Mom: And don't forget us when you get successful* almost crying*
