Last night was beyond description. It was the most horrible day in my life. I did not believe in ghosts, and when Iswaran told me that there was the presence of a ghost in the area, I neglected it. Lat night when I was sleeping, a howling noise woke me up. First, I thought it would be a cat. But the sound was too guttural for a cat. I got up from the bed and looked out of the window. I was petrified when I saw a dark cloudy figure holding a bundle in its arms. What a frightening sight it was! I began to sweat and I fell back on the pillow. Fear had not gripped me like this before. Iswaran came the next morning and I explained my experience to him. He was delighted that he could prove his point. He had heard the moaning sound himself.
