When he was going to catch the train his conscience pricked him to think what all he could have done without stealing the money.He realised the importance of education he was receiving from Anil.He knew that being able to read and write will open door to many opportunities.Hari Singh knew that if Anil would realise that Hari singh has stolen his money he will only show a touch of sadness

Hari realised that it was easy to steal but to be a really big man and to lead a respectable life was a far greater thing. He knew that this kind of life is possible only if he learnt to read and write from Anil.So he returned back to Anil
