Let son's present age be x years. Then, man's present age = (x + 24) years.

∴(x+24)+2=2(x+2)

⇒x+26=2x+4

Let us assume that, present age of his son is x years .

So,

→ Present age of damodar = (x + 26) years .

then,

→ 4 years later his son age = (x + 4) years .

and,

→ 4 years later damodar age = (x + 26) + 4 = (x + 30) years .

A/q,

→ (x + 30) = 2(x + 4)

→ x + 30 = 2x + 8

→ 2x - x = 30 - 8

→ x = 22 years .

therefore, present age of his son is equal to 22 years .
