Short Note on Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection
More individuals are produced each generation that can survive. Phenotypic variation exists among individuals and the variation is heritable. Those individuals with heritable traits better suited to the environment will survive. Natural selection is the differential survival and reproduction of individual. Charles Darwin popularised the term "natural selection", contrasting it with artificial selection, which in his view is intentional, whereas natural selection is not.

DRAWIN'S THOERY OF NATURAL SELECTION
More individuals are produced each generation that can survive .Phenotypic variation exists among individuals and the variation is heritable. Those individuals with heritable traits better suited to the environment will survive.
MAIN THINGS DRAWIN'S THEORY
- Adaption
- Variation
- Competition
- Over production
- Speciation
PRINCPLE OF DRAWIN'S THEORY
- Variation-a liberalizing factor , which Drawin did not attempt to explain ,present in all forms of life .
- Heredity -the conservative force that transmits similar organic form from one generation to another.
- Struggle for existence-which determines the variations that will confer advantages in a given environment, thus altering species through selective reproductive state.
