Solution :-

Let us assume that, the distance of her school is x km.

Case 1) :-

→ Time taken to go to school at 20 km/h = D/S = (x/20) hours.

and she reaches 4 minutes late.

so, we can say that,

→ Actual time to reach school = {(x/20) - (4/60)} hours.

Case 2) :-

→ Time taken to go to school at 25 km/h = D/S = (x/25) hours.

and she reaches 2 minutes earlier.

so, we can say that,

→ Actual time to reach school = {(x/25) + (2/60)} hours.

therefore,

→ {(x/20) - (4/60)} = {(x/25) + (2/60)}

→ (x/20) - (x/25) = (2/60) + (4/60)

→ (5x - 4x)/100 = (6/60)

→ (x/100) = (1/10)

→ x = (100/10)

→ x = 10 km/h. (D) (Ans.)

Hence, the distance of her school is 10 km/h .
