He died due to his greediness.so we must not be greedy and always be happy with what we have.

Once upon a time there was a king. He was very greedy. He had everything he wanted. Still he was sad and wanted more and more wealth. He wanted everything to be turned into gold. His wish came true when one of his minister casted a spell on him that whatever he would touch would be turned into gold. His happiness knew no bounds. Thus he touched his bed, his house and everything in his palace. But one day when his little daughter came to him and sat in his lap, she was turned into a golden doll. The king began to cry and regretted for his shameful greed. He realises that it is not the wealth what makes one happy but it is the love what can make anyone very happy. But it was too late to realise the unchanged truth.
