The excretory system is a passive biological system that removes excess, unnecessary materials from the body fluids of an organism, so as to help maintain internal chemical homeostasis
(b) Ureter- The ureters are the tubes that carry urine from kidneys to the urinary bladder.
(c) Urinary bladder- It is the reservoir of urine and stores urine until it is excreted out.
The function of the kidney is to filter blood and form urine. Urine is the liquid waste product of the body that is excreted by the urinary system. Nephrons are the structural and functional units of the kidneys. A single kidney may have more than a million nephrons!
