Distance between David and the image will be 6m

princessdarpan: so if David's first distance between the mirror and him was 4m, then the distance between his image and the mirror would also be 4m
princessdarpan: total distance = 4+4=8
princessdarpan: now since David moves 1 m closer, the distance between him and the mirror is 6m, so is the distance between his image and the mirror
princessdarpan: now total distance = 3+3 = 6m
