firstly,
lets think about a computer....
a computer is just a couple of switches which let information pass through a bridge.
it has a memory unit, which stores all about the instructions abput when to pass information and when not to, we call these instructions as programs.
these bridges are the brain of a computer and help it process and let go of information with a few modifications.
now, think of these bridges as a group of children, capable of doing very small mathematical problems. now the problem is divided and shared like 5+4 goes as 5+5+(-1), or 4+4+1, like this they solve it very quickly. these bridges are the transistors and the more they are, the merrier.
now in a robot, it primarily depends on the function of robot on how it completes that function. it also has the above mentioned parts and it reads instructions on not how to walk, but how to move its parts to complete the function it is assigned by the program.
AI(artificial intellegence) is a comptely different thing.
it is even possible that the robot dosent know it is called 'to walk' by us humans.
but AIs are different they are based on the basic program of learning, mpre properly, experimenting and learning. in reality, it tries out various things and calculates its possible outcomes and then procedes, just like a human mind.
i side with stephen hawking and the group, believing that AI might take over one day and human race might finish off.

this robo machine is very simple and we can make it if we have proper material .
so i will explain in short
take arduino board and program it as you want .take some servo motors and led and other important components.then make a frame or body as you want and join all connections.as you have programmed your robot will work.
