Dear concerned authority,
While revising the topic subject-verb agreement, a statement 'When two singular subjects are joined by 'and, and there is also use of words like 'each' and'every', the verb that follows is singular. However, in the examples given, the sentence was 'Each orange and each apple costs ten rupees'. 'Costs' was used while it was supposed to be singular. I kindly request you to clarify on this matter.
