in my opinion,flattering friends are like shadows, they follow you in the sun, but leave you in the dark having flattering friends is way worse than having enemies, because you trust these friends and share almost everything with them. you might think that these people are your 'true friends' just because they praise and appreciate you, but it is easy to impress one with flattering words, as words are easy, like the wind. And the people who flatter you will not stand by you when you are in trouble. they only accompany you for materialistic needs and these friends will be along with you only till you have money to spend, and as what they need is lost, so are they.
fake friends are around when they think you're cool, whereas true friends are around even when they think you're a fool!
On the other hand, its difficult to find a True friend, yet they are the ones who stay by your side and help you in need, share your grief and cross all boundaries to help you. They mirror your feelings- weep with you, cheer along and sleep only when you dont have any more worries.
