Explanation:

Shopping mall is a huge shopping complex or a structure which houses a number of shops.

A market place can be on a ground or vacant area and may also consist of some concrete buildings/shops.

But the difference is a shopping mall should be a big building housing shops and its appearance is not like market places like paalika bazar or karol bagh where shops are spread over streets.

In a mall all shops come under one building structure.

In malls we get branded things and offers of 10% ,20%, 75% and many more, but in bazaar we can't get branded things and not too much % offers.

Compare the prices and then buy the products. Online shopping can be done without worrying about the time restrictions or without any location constraints. Street shopping is all about the independent shops where shoppers can find unique and innovative stuff. Malls have more or less the same stuff and same brands
