The right to education act is a realistic and achievable goal As I see it, there are three main points you will have to relate your speech to: RTE is realistic, it is achievable and it will change the face of education. Here are some points you could include FOR the motion.
Realistic:
The government has already introduced measures such as the mid-day meal to encourage children from economically backward homes to attend school. (I suggest you do some research on other measures that the government has introduced)
Children who fail classes lose interest in studying and are more likely to drop out. Parents whose children fail feel discouraged, and if they are not well-off, feel that it is a waste for them to pay for education. Already, schools cannot fail children till the 9th Std. This means that there will be less school dropouts in the 6-14 age group, which is what RTE targets.
Achievable:
I can 't give you exact points for this, but I would suggest that you look up the literacy statistics of various states and point out how they have been rising, suggesting that parents do want their children to be educated.
Change the face of education:
When we are forced to cater to ALL children, not just the ones that fit into the cookie-cutter mould, we will have to rethink many of our current, outdated systems and constructs of education.
RTE also requires 25% of seats, even in private schools, be reserved for economically backward students who will not pay full school fees, but will be subsidized by the government at a rate they consider acceptable. This will lead to fewer schools being run for a purely profit motive. Schools will also have to rethink their approach to teaching when they have to deal with a mixed group.
This 25% cannot be put into a separate division, so even children from wealthy families will be mixing with kids from poor families. As a direct result of this, they will grow up to be more broad-minded.
In order to ensure that children are learning what they need to, in spite of not failing classes, new methods of assessment like CCE are being introduced in both the Central and in many State Boards.
Since this is a debate, you should prepare for the following possible arguments:
RTE does not require parents to send children under 14 to school.
Private schools have not agreed to the 25% reservation.
Government measures are not always successful and are often not implemented properly.
There is no proper provision yet to ensure that all schools follow the guidelines.
Finally, I suggest that you make it clear that although RTE is both realistic and achievable and will definitely change the face of education in India, we cannot expect this to happen overnight. This is a major change that will take time to fully happen.

hope it helps uh!

How can we change the Indian education system?

What are the pros and cons of working in education?

Before coming to your question, I would like to go briefly into the history of our education system. Initially, the was gurukul system of learning. It is highly effective and produced great skilled men. This system was there way before Lord Rama.

The present educational system is introduced by maccauley during the British rule to curb the integrity of Indians. That system continued in the Congress rule. Changes are made over the years by them. The vision of IITs, IIMs, etc. is great. But there were no phenomenal changes and the lost shine of gurukul system was never back. Eve

Do you aspire to take your family business to the next level?

Firstly we have to change our mindset education is not jobs grabbing area. Education is the methodology of developing our society.

Our education system just killing our thoughts & methodology of thoughts from childhood we just learned how to memorize.

Education definition always a definition never become it should be like this screenshot.

Not like that.

Our education system is very outdated it's from the era of Thomas Babington mackley.we are living in 21st century but till our education system is belonging from 18th century .The common things we need in our daily life are

1)food. 2)Cloth.

By changing the attitude of students.

Nov 10, 2016.. A date to remember, because it was second day after demonetization.!

I was called by my faculty on Nov 9, 2016 to give a presentation on demonetization the following day addressing its pros and cons. I was pursuing MBA, finance major when it happened.! What an opportunity to speak..

And there it is.. A good opportunity,,, but.``

Come on. It is just second day.. So, there will not be much data available except 86% of the currency is made invalid and how people are suffering because of it.!.

I wanted to make my classmates understand the disadvantages of demonetization. How will I do it? 2nd day is too early to speak predictions since everyone are making one. Majority of the them were indeed happy because they were under assumptions that rich is getting punished. And there were nationalists who fully supported the move.

I decided to include “Subprime lending crisis that resulted in 2008 recession”. So I thought it will be easier to explain.! How this demonetization move could turn out to be 2008 version 2.

When I started my presentation, I thought my classmates knew somethings about Subprime lending crisis.. I began “Like Subprime Lending crisis that resulted in 2008 recession, demonetization seems to present us with more misery.”

I was shocked to see 29 clueless faces.! Because none of them knew what subprime lending crisis was.!

All of them had finance major, some even had economics in their undergrad.

I asked them, how come they don't know an important thing like that. I got answers like.

-It is not in syllabus

-we don't know what it is.

-it happened in America, not India right?

-there are no marks for learning that, no one asks that in exam.

This is what has to change. The attitude of students from just mugging up for exams should change. They should focus on understanding the subject and get strong in analysing, so it will be helpful in problem solving.

As long as this studying for exams only exists, nothing can be changed in the education system.

People shall be thought through application of what is learnt, not memorising what is in text book.
