debate on topic - old age homes a necessity

Old age home is necessary for the needy and helpless old aged individuals,who has no place to go or family to look after them..and unnecessary for the greedy sons and daughters,who give lame reasons as excuses to quit responsibility ,of taking care of their parents.

If giving birth to a child and throwing it away in orphanage ,is considered to be cruel and crime !! Then I see the same cruelty here.
