There are many authorities in education in Europe and America that consider the very notion of Western Civilization as a topic of inquiry to be ethnocentric and academically invalid.
This means that Western Civilization is the only civilization in history that opposes understanding and learning about itself. Or, to put that another way, Misanthropy is the order of the day in Western Education
