You will be paid well and high, you will be respected,you will have a more stable job, you will know how to take better care of yourself and family.
Cons
Intense study required to achieve mastery of the medical profession .You will have few less time to spend with family and friends Required to work many late hours You may be required to encounter dead and wounded people

In case of an engineer:
Engineers often escalate to management positions and earn excellent money over the life of their careers .If a career in research is interesting, an engineering degree can pave the way to further study
