Good day ladies and gentlemen,panelof judges,my co debaters and off course the audience.
My name is David Beckham and am here to oppose the topic which says 'should children be given cell phones'. Off course children should not be given cell phones because of my following reasons.
Firstly, a cell phone prevent a child from sleeping,which is dangerous to their health and also it makes them to spend their reading hours on social media which is not a good idea for children of school age.
Secondly, cell phones causes distractions to children of school age by making them forget things they ought not to forget. This is not good at all for children most especially those of school age.
Thirdly,cell phones causes expenses and responsibilities. Having a cell phone is quite a big responsibility,given the expense and relative fragility of this devices.
In conclusion,cell phone is not good for children because it doesn't make them have enough time for their studies.
With the points I have been able to raised hope you all now agree with me that cell phones should not be given to children, thank you.
